JOYCE GARRELL YOUNG

WILMINGTON--Joyce Garrell Young, 93, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Wilmington, NC surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Longs, South Carolina on October 23, 1926 to Henry Paul Garrell and Gladys Gore Garrell. Joyce entered and exited this world on the same date. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, James Erskin Young.

MARY RAY KEARNEY

FRANKLINTON--Mary Ray Kearney, 79, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2019. Funeral services were held at Popes Chapel Christian Church, 1237 Pocomoke Road, Franklinton, on Tuesday, Oct. 29, with the Rev. Harold Woodlief officiating. Interment followed in the Kearney family cemetery.
