David Green Faulkner

Castalia, NC -- David Green Faulkner, 91, of Castalia, passed away Friday night, September 19, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

David was the son of the late Sam and Jessie Lee Faulkner. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Rachel P. Faulkner; his son, Samuel Faulkner and daughter, Patricia Turner; brother, Bryant Faulkner and grandchildren, Amanda Gail Faulkner and John Paul Ayscue.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Fuller officiating. The family will receive friends 2 - 3 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Faulkner Family Cemetery.

David is survived by his children, Joyce Williams (Scott), David Faulkner (Rhonda), Maurice Faulkner (Kitty), Rachel Braswell, Lisa Satterwhite (Dennis), Glen Faulkner (Rebekah), and Jasmine Wilder; 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
