Prostate & Breast Cancer workshop
South Main Street Baptist Church First Aid Ministry will be sponsoring a prostate and breast cancer workshop on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Facilitators are Mellow Curry, FNP, Brandon Jones, FNP, Donna Crudup, RN BS, Karone Jones, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Dr. Leroy Darkes, MD, President of the NC Minority Prostate Cancer Awareness Action Team.
There will be lots of information. Prizes will be given to individuals who invite the most guests. All are welcome.

Hickory Grove Baptist Church Willing Workers Ministry will sponsor a give-away of new and used clothes, household and electrical items on Sept. 27, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. All are welcome.

Homecoming / Revival
Mt. Gilead Baptist Church will have Homecoming Sunday, Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Brother Scott Pearce and family will bring the message and sing.
Also, Mt. Gilead will have their Revival Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. nightly. All are welcome to both events.

Yard/Bake Sale fundraiser
Hickory Rock Baptist Church, 1580 Firetower Road, Louisburg will have their annual yard and bake sale Saturday, Oct. 4, from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Rain date is Oct. 11. Items include; furniture, household goods, adult and children's clothes and toys. Assorted baked goods will be on sale. All funds donated to local missions (Safe Space, Care & Share).

First Pastoral Anniversary
The Church Of Jesus Christ Outreach Ministries, Bunn will celebrate the First Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Elder Maxine M. Coley with two events on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The event will be held at Bunn Middle School, 4742 Hwy 39 Bunn.
Guest Pastors will be Apostle Johnny Leake, from Revelation in the Word Church in Elm City NC and Rev. Sandra Hodge of Phelps Chapel Church Louisburg. All are invited.

Community Day and 165th Homecoming
Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 893 Bunn Elementary School Rd., Bunn, is having their annual Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be a car show, game truck, bouncy house, ice cream truck, blood donation truck, vendors, college reps, food, and fun.
They will conclude the weekend by celebrating the 165th Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 5, during the 10 a.m. worship service. Guest preacher will be Rev. Larry M. Neal Sr., Senior Pastor of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Chapel Hill. All are invited to attend.
