CHAPEL HILL, NC -- Funeral services for Angela M. Dozier, age 55, who died on Thursday, September 18, 2025, will be held on Sunday, October 5, at 2 p.m. at the Allen Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Franklinton, NC with Rev. Dr. William Williams officiating and Pastor Marcus Dunston Johnson, eulogist.

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton, NC. The family will be receiving friends and family during the repass, located at the historic Christian College and Baptist Training Union Center of Franklinton, NC.

Born March 27, 1956, she is survived by her mother, Rev. Dr. Diane Fogg Dozier; two sons, Shamee Edreese Dozier of Butner, NC and Mariek Vernel Dozier of Chapel Hill, NC; fraternal twins- daughter, Sasha and son, Emmanuel both of Louisburg, NC; siblings, Mary Spragley of Whitakers, NC, Craig Dozier of Franklinton, NC, Angel Dozier of Durham, NC, Latosha Ward of Wake Forest, NC, Shauna Lyons of Atlanta, GA, and Marcus Dozier-Smith of Franklinton, NC.
