South Main Street Baptist Workshop
The Jewels Women's Ministry of the South Main Street Baptist Church will have a "Love and Relationship Workshop" on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Speakers will be Sister Tyler Edgerton and Sister Lynn Johnson, both single; Deaconess Fannie Perry, married; Rev. Elaine Hanzer, divorced; and Rev. Dazale Kearney, widowed. All women are invited and asked to wear red for love. Lunch will be served.

Relay fundraiser new date
The South Main Street Baptist Church Relay for Life team will have a BBQ plate sale at Johnny's BBQ on Feb. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. Plates are $12 and consists of BBQ, potato salad, cole slaw, and hushpuppies. This is a drive through event. Payment is by ticket or cash only. All proceeds will go to the Franklin County Relay for Life/American Cancer Society.
