TRACY T. GREEN
LOUISBURG – Tracy Thorne Green, 44, of Louisburg, died Thursday morning.

Tracy was preceded in death by her father, J.W. Thorne, and her special aunt, Carrie Thorne. She was an active member of White Level Baptist Church and was an optician with Louisburg Eye Associates. She had a tremendous love for all of her patients. Tracy had such a love for her family, friends and life.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at White Level Baptist Church, with the Rev. Henry Stamper and the Rev. Winfred Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Tracy is survived by her husband of 24 years, Pat Green; daughter, Kacy Green, and son, Kyle Green, both of the home; mother and stepfather, Rosa “Tootie” and Thomas Finch of Louisburg; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Roger Ayscue of Castalia; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Joy Thorne, and mother- and father-in-law, Patricia and John Green, all of Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2400 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends 7 - 9 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.

Although I did not know Tracy Green, the reports about her life are a real encouragement to the community. She set a terrific example of a Christian who gave so much of herself to others. I know she will be missed, but I bet she would want others to step up and reflect her life in theirs.
