WARREN RAY WARD
BUNN - Warren Ray Ward, 70, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center. The family received friends and relatives Thursday, June 24, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

  He was born in Riverton, Iowa to the late Floyd Ward and Thelma Jones Ward. He served his country in the United States Navy. Following his service in the Navy, he joined IBM and retired after a 25-year career.

Surviving: son, Kendall Ward (Lisa) of Wake Forest; daughter, Kim Burson (Jim) of Raleigh; former wife, Janice Ward of Wake Forest; brother, Wesley Ward (Ruthie) of Riverton, Iowa; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Warren to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 7721 Six Forks Road, Suite 136, Raleigh, NC 27615.
