FRANCES T. WOODLIEF
FRANKLINTON - Frances Tant Woodlief, 92, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in the Franklin Funeral Service chapel, 504 E. Mason Street, Franklinton, with the Rev. Bobby Piper officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Arch Rufus Tant and Mattie Eakes Tant. She was the widow of James E. Woodlief and a homemaker.

Surviving: a son, James Benny Woodlief of Henderson; a daughter, Betty W. Gill of Dearing, Ga.; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gearald Mae Reavis.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Living Springs Church of God in Franklinton.
