RUBY M. CREECH
ZEBULON - Ruby Manning Creech, 93, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Sept. 4, at Watkins Chapel Baptist Church. Entombment followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Johnston County, she was daughter to the late Eugene and Corinna Sewell Manning. She was a member of Watkins Chapel Baptist Church for 76 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Worth B. Creech, and a son, Steve W. Creech.

Surviving: sons, Stacy Creech (Joyce), Phil Creech (Maude), and Anthony Creech (Linda), all of Zebulon; sister, Virginia Johnson of Raleigh; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or memorials to Watkins Chapel Baptist Church, 5897 NC Highway 231, Middlesex, NC 27557.

Arrangements handled by Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell.
