Pastoral Anniversary
Gospel Unlimited Church of Christ Disciples, Inc., will celebrate the 6th Pastoral Anniversary of their Pastor, Bishop Donnell Durham and First Lady Sherry Durham, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 26. On Wednesday night, Pastor Reginald Pullen of Mt. Calvary Worship and Praise Ministries; Thursday night, Pastor Michael Alston of Old Liberty Missionary Baptist Church; and Friday night, Pastor Roland T. McKoy of Greater Faith Holiness Church. Services start at 7:30 nightly.

On Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m., First Lady Annie McKoy will speak at the Anniversary Dinner. On Sunday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m., Pastor Lenora Dawson of Jesus House of Prayer will be the speaker, finishing up the anniversary celebration. All are invited.

Hickory Grove sponsors giveaway
Hickory Grove Baptist Church will sponsor a giveaway Saturday, Oct. 18, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Free items include clothes, household goods and furniture. All are welcome.

Missionary Day / Canned food drive
Pastor Joyner and the missionaries of St. Stephen will hold their annual Missionary Day/Holiday Can Drive beginning Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. You may drop off canned items during the regular services each Sunday except the 5th Sunday.
The canned food drive will benefit Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank.
Pastor Elder J. Douglas Joyner will be the speaker and all missionaries are asked to wear white attire.
The church is located at 3319 NC Hwy. 58 in the Inez community. All are welcome.

Breast Cancer Awareness service
St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 3319 NC Hwy. 58 in the Inez community, will have a special service 11 a.m., Oct. 26, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Guest speaker will be Elder Dane' Williams of Gospel Unlimited of Castalia. The Gospel Unlimited choir will perform. Elder Faye Alston will preside over the event.
The church will acknowledge and honor all cancer victims, survivors, and caregivers in attendance.
Helena Williams, a 24-year survivor, the coordinator, and the church family invite the public to attend.
