Pastoral Anniversary
Gospel Unlimited Church of Christ Disciples, Inc., will celebrate the 6th Pastoral Anniversary of their Pastor, Bishop Donnell Durham and First Lady Sherry Durham, today through Sunday, Oct. 26. On Thursday night, Oct. 23, Pastor Michael Alston of Old Liberty Missionary Baptist Church will deliver the message; and Friday night, Oct. 24, Pastor Roland T. McKoy of Greater Faith Holiness Church will speak. Services start at 7:30 nightly.
On Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m., First Lady Annie McKoy will speak at the Anniversary Dinner. On Sunday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m., Pastor Lenora Dawson of Jesus House of Prayer will be the speaker, finishing up the anniversary celebration. All are invited.

Surviving the Holidays
Are you facing grief this holiday season? You are not alone.
Perry's Chapel Baptist Church is planning a gathering for grieving people to talk about what to expect this season and to learn how to deal with the many emotions brought on by the holidays. Bittersweet memories. Loss of traditions. An empty seat at the table. The holiday season can trigger sadness and despair for people grieving a loss.
The two-hour event, "Surviving the Holidays," will be held at Perry's Chapel Baptist Church on Nov. 8 at 2 p.m., 894 Perry's Chapel Road, Franklinton. Please pre-register at GriefShare.org under find a meeting or email/call Glenda 919-819-2761, glmay@ncsu.edu

Guest speaker
Reverend Andre Johnson will be rendering service as guest speaker at Kinches Chapel Christian Church, Sunday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m.
Everyone is Welcome.

Men's Day weekend
South Main Street Baptist Church will host a Men's Day weekend Oct. 25-26. There will be a Men's prayer breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. On Sunday at 10 a.m., the Men's Day speaker will be Rev. Kenneth Alexander, Pastor of Louisburg First Baptist Church. All are invited.

Musical program
Faith Missionary Church, 267 E.F. Cottrell Road, Louisburg, Pastor's Aide Ministry will be sponsoring a musical program on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m.
Groups appearing on the program will be Vera and Company, the Eaton Brothers, Kenny Moore and Friends, along with other guest groups.

Singing at Mt. Gilead
Mt. Gilead Independent Baptist Church will have a special singing worship service, Sunday, Oct. 26 at 10:30 a.m.
Curtis Hyler and Jubilation will be bringing the morning message in song.
Light lunch will be served after the service. All are welcome.

Gospel Choir anniversary
The Gillfield Gospel Choir will celebrate their 52nd singing anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. Various choirs will perform during the celebration.
Gillfield Missionary Baptist Church is located and Hwy. 561 and Gillfield Loop Road, in the Wood community. All are invited.

Castalia Baptist Fall Bazaar
Castalia Baptist Church, 9563 Main St., Castalia, will have their Fall Bazaar, Saturday, Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be handmade items, a silent auction, and food. All are welcome.

Concert at Pine Ridge
Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 874 Pine Ridge Road, Zebulon, will have a concert 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 2 with the Jaystone Singers performing. Refreshments will follow the show. All are invited.
