JACK F. STANLEY
LOUISBURG - Jack Furman Stanley, 79, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Maria Parham Medical Center. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Elmwood Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossoman.

He was born in Vance County, the son of the late Paul Cecil Stanley and Jacksie Ross Stanley. He was a retired veteran of the U. S. Air Force, where he served as a technical sergeant. He attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving: wife, Eileen Beeching Stanley of the home; daughters, Mary Jane Stanley of Kittrell and Kelly S. Bridge of Epsom; son, Michael Allan Stanley of the home; sister, Pauline “Polly” S. Fuller  of Louisburg; brother, Charles E. “Pete” Stanley of Oxford; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kirk F. Russell; two sisters, Ruth S. Derby and Martha S. Currin; and a brother, Preston C. Stanley.

The family will receive friends after the service on Thursday at the cemetery and at other times they will be at the home, 320 Fuller Road, Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 905 Americal Road, Henderson, NC 27537 or the American Heart Association, c/o Janet Stradley, P.O. Box 1069, Henderson, NC 27536.
