ADELL CASH WYNNE

FRANKLINTON - Adell Cash Wynne (94) went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2015. She loved the Lord, her family and Franklinton Baptist Church where she served humbly and faithfully for sixty-four years. Her Bible Study Group, which she fondly called "Her Girls," held a special place in her heart.

Adell was a graduate of Franklinton High School and retired from Burlington Industries with 38 years of service. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling to places she had only read about.

She leaves cherished memories for everyone who knew her.

Born in Franklin County, she was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Irvin Cash and Oza Cash Hagwood; brothers, Graham E. and Hugh I. Cash.

She is survived by her three daughters, Peggy McGhee (Ralph), Jo Ann  "Rooney" Rainey (Bill) and  Jackie Bernard (Barny).  She was affectionately  known as "Grandell" to six grandchildren: Scott McGhee (Lydia), Penny McGhee, Russ Rainey (Jo Anne), Tom Rainey (Anna) , R J Bernard III, Mic Bernard (Kristen); and twelve adoring great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary "Tommie" Cash, and niece, Sondra Edwards.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31st from 12:30 PM  until 1:45 PM at Franklinton Baptist Church, 102 West Mason Street, Franklinton, NC 27525. Service will follow at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franklinton Baptist Church.
