DAVID LEE CLAX

CREEDMOOR--David Lee Clax, 63, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 at his home in Creedmoor. Services were held Sunday, Sept. 15, at First Baptist Church in Franklinton, with Evangelist Donathan Muldrow officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Franklinton.

He was born to the late Thomas and Flora Hayes Clax in Franklinton and attended Franklin County Public Schools.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, McDonald, Levine, and Joseph Clax, and two sisters, Delores and Lorraine Clax.

Surviving: one son, David Maurice Clax of Creedmoor; four grandchildren; sisters, Mary Williams and Naomi Brodie, both of Washington, DC, and Marie Harris of Franklinton; brother, Thomas Edward Clax of Franklinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements by Cutchins Family Mortuary and Cremation, Franklinton.
