NANCY JEAN PARRISH LONG
October 23, 1940- December 7, 2021

ROSEVILLE, CALIFORNIA--Born in Louisburg, North Carolina to Arch and Mary Alice Hubbard Parrish, she passed peacefully in Roseville, California.

Nancy came to Sacramento in 1959 and was an active member of the local community. Her successful career with the federal government began with the FBI in Washington, D.C. and ended in retirement from McClellan AFB.

She enjoyed attending the Music Circus, playing tennis, camping, traveling in her RV, cheering on her favorite teams and laughing with family and friends.

She was a devoted full-time caregiver to her beloved grandson, Michael, for over 25 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Long and grandson Michael.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Shearer, son-in-law James Shearer, Son, Dale Long, grandchildren, Robert Breese, James A. Shearer, James Long and Carly Shearer. Sister, Alice Faye Hunter and brother, Allan Parrish.

The family will celebrate Nancy's life in a private service.
