Louisburg Falls project takes a tumble

LOUISBURG -- Will a reworked "hybrid" plan for the embattled Louisburg Falls mixed-use development be enough to pump new life into the project?

"... We started out doing it for ourselves," Miller said. "Then, we went to the Raleigh Farmers' Market to get some garden plants and we saw a guy selling [microgreens] there," Miller said.

The town currently assesses property owners a tax rate of 64 cents per $100 of valuation.

Physics 101: Push too hard and things will break!
Physics 101: Push too hard and things will break!

Perfect is the enemy of good.

Perhaps if those simple words had been painted on the walls of the Louisburg Town Council's meeting room last week, a $100-million investment in the future of the Burg might have been preserved.

Climate info from left?

Dear editor: In the May 4th letters to the editor section, Robert Strickland claimed that over 99 percent of scientists believe in man-made climate change.
