FRANKLINTON-- Affie Mae Pickett Collins, 84, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St., Franklinton, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. with Minister Jo Ann Stancil officiating. The family will have a private burial.

She was born to the late Walter Leo and Minnie Fitch Cole Pickett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Howard Collins Sr., and 10 brothers and sisters.

Surviving: children, Judith Collins Harrison of Franklinton, Nancy Collins Renn (Allen) of Wake Forest, Linda Collins Paul (Alvin) of Newport, and Samuel Howard Collins Jr. (Tammy) of Emerald Isle; brother, Donald Pickett (Faith); and nine grandchildren.
