John Paul "Cadillac Jack" Waikas
February 2, 1942 - April 11, 2026

Louisburg, NC -- John Paul Waikas, lovingly known as "Cadillac Jack," passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, in Louisburg, North Carolina, at the age of 84.

Born on February 2, 1942, John lived a full and hardworking life, building a long and successful career in sales. He was known for his sharp instincts, strong work ethic, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Outside of work, John found joy in the simple pleasures--especially tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. He had a lifelong passion for Cadillacs, a love so well-known that it earned him his cherished nickname, "Cadillac Jack."

Whether under the hood or sharing stories about his latest project, he was happiest when working with his hands. He also enjoyed spending time shooting and had a deep appreciation for music, often picking up his guitar to relax and unwind.

John is survived by his two daughters, Marjorie Waikas and Wendy Marrello; his sister, Arlene DeAngelus; his niece, Kathy; and his beloved grandchildren, Angelia Marrello and Amanda Holtzman. He was preceded in death by his grandson, John Holtzman.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of craftsmanship, his passions, and the legacy of hard work and heart he leaves behind.

His presence, stories, and unmistakable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
