The Franklin County Special Olympics competition scheduled for Friday, March 26, has been postponed because of weather. The event has been rescheduled for April 7 at Franklinton Park with opening ceremonies set to begin at 10 a.m.

VIM ticket prices lowered for fundraiser
The Franklin County Volunteers in Medicine has dropped ticket prices for its Casino Night planned for Saturday at Hudson Manor. Tickets were cut on Tuesday from $55 to $25.
